Each tank uses its own coil platform. Geekvape Z Series coils do not fit Vaporesso tanks and vice versa. Always confirm the coil platform matches your tank before ordering replacements.

Sub-ohm vape tanks: Zeus 5, iTank T and UForce X

Sub-ohm tanks are designed for direct-to-lung (DTL) and restricted direct-to-lung (RDL) vaping, where e-liquid capacity, vapour volume and flavour intensity are prioritised over a tight draw. The Geekvape Zeus Sub-Ohm Tank 5 (£22.99 at VapeCity) is the current flagship in the Zeus range, with a 5ml capacity and top-fill design. It uses Z Series XM coils, which cover a mesh and dual-mesh range from sub-ohm DTL through to a tight RDL at the higher resistance end. The sealed top cap opens with a quarter-turn to fill without removing the tank from the device. The Zeus 5 is compatible with most 510-threaded box mods and advanced pod mods with a 510 adapter.

The Vaporesso iTank T Dual Mesh (£19.99 at VapeCity) offers the largest capacity in the VapeCity tank range at 8ml, using GTi dual-mesh coils in 0.2Ω and 0.4Ω configurations. The dual-mesh coil design increases the heated surface area relative to a single-mesh coil, improving flavour consistency with high-VG shortfill e-liquids at 40-80W. The iTank T uses a pull-and-fill top-fill mechanism and has adjustable bottom airflow. The Voopoo UForce X Tank (£14.99) uses UForce FT coils in a 5ml body, with a side-fill port under the top cap and adjustable bottom airflow. The UForce X sits between MTL and open DTL in draw resistance, covering the RDL range most suited to 50/50 blends at 10mg nicotine.

The Geekvape Zeus Sub-Ohm Tank (the predecessor at £16.99) uses the same Z Series coil platform as the Zeus 5 but with a 4ml capacity and an older coil range. Both Zeus models are coil-compatible with the Z Series XM Boost packs stocked at VapeCity. If you already own a Zeus coil stock, either tank generation uses the same coils. The Zeus 5 adds the larger capacity and a redesigned fill mechanism, while the original Zeus Sub-Ohm Tank delivers the same coil platform at a lower purchase price for the tank itself.

MTL vape tanks: Innokin Prism range, Nautilus 3SR and XTank T

The Innokin Prism tank series is the most accessible range in the VapeCity tank lineup by price. The Prism T20S (£7.99) and Prism T18E (£8.99) are the entry-level options, both using the Prism T18 or T18E coil platform respectively and operating at 10-16W for tight MTL use with 20mg nic salt. The T18E Pro (£10.99) and T18 II (£9.99) add incremental refinements to the same coil-and-tank format. All four Innokin Prism tanks use a top-fill design with a fixed airflow calibrated for a tight, consistent MTL draw. They are best paired with 20mg nicotine salt in a 50/50 VG/PG blend at 12-16W. Innokin Prism coils use a dual coil layout rather than mesh, which provides a different vapour character from the mesh-dominant options in the sub-ohm category.

The Aspire Nautilus 3SR (£20.99) is the most versatile tank in the MTL section at VapeCity, with adjustable airflow that covers both restricted direct-to-lung and a tight MTL draw on the same unit. The adjustable airflow ring has distinct click positions so you can set a repeatable draw without readjusting each time. It uses Nautilus BVC coils, which is a long-standing Aspire platform available in multiple resistance options including 0.7Ω for RDL and 1.8Ω for tight MTL. The Nautilus 3SR is top-fill via a rotary cap. At 4ml capacity, it suits a full day of use on 20mg nic salt without refilling in most vaping patterns.

The Vaporesso XTank T (£13.99) uses the GTX coil platform, covering 0.8Ω for MTL at 12-25W through to 0.3Ω for RDL at 32-40W. This is the same GTX coil range used in the Vaporesso GTX One and GTX Two kits, so if you already stock GTX coils, the XTank T uses the same pack. The tank body holds 4ml and uses a top-fill system. The XTank T sits between the budget Innokin Prism tanks and the premium Nautilus 3SR in terms of coil range flexibility and build quality.
