Elf Bar Vapes

Elf Bar made the disposable half the country vaped in 2023. When single-use was banned in June 2025 the brand didn’t fold — it dropped the same flavours into rechargeable pod kits you charge and refill. Buy by the box here and each device works out at about half what you’d hand over for a single one across the counter.

The range that matters is all here. The Dual 10K big-puff device at about £6.20 a device by the box, the pocket 600 pod kit, the screen-and-airflow JoinOne15, the four-flavour Ultra50, the compact ELFA Pro, the refillable ELFX Mega, and ElfLiq salts in the same flavours. All by the box, VAT included, out the door quick. Below: which one to get, and what it actually saves you.

Elf Bar wrote the playbook for the modern pod kit

Elf Bar is the biggest name to come out of the disposable era, and it’s still setting the pace. The brand launched in 2018 out of Shenzhen and hit the UK around mid-2021, right as the original Elf Bar 600 caught on — sweet, recognisable flavours, a smooth 20mg nic-salt hit, and a draw that felt like a cigarette. That combination is why millions picked it up.

It’s made by Shenzhen iMiracle, the same parent that builds Lost Mary, so the hardware underneath is proven: QUAQ mesh coils and the ElfLiq flavour concentrates that carried straight over from the disposables. Since the 2025 ban, every Elf Bar we stock is a rechargeable prefilled or refillable pod kit. Same flavours, a battery that lasts months, and a pod you swap for pennies instead of binning the whole device.

The Elf Bar line-up, range by range

Different sizes, same DNA. Strip the packaging away and it’s a few prefilled kits, one refillable, and a bottle of salt. What each is, and who it suits.

Elf Bar 600

Everyday pod kit · ~600 puffs

The nearest thing to the disposable you remember, only it recharges. Draw-activated, 550mAh, a sealed 2ml pod of 20mg salt. The 600 prefilled pod kit is about £2.80 a device by the box; after that you’re only buying 600 pods.

Dual 10K

Big-puff kit · ~10,000 puffs

Two flavours in one device, switched on the fly. An 850mAh battery, QUAQ mesh, Type-C, and around 10,000 puffs a set of pods. The Dual 10K device runs about £6.20 each by the box — our bestseller of the lot.

JoinOne15

Screen kit · ~15,000 puffs

A step up: dual battery, a dynamic HD screen reading battery in real time, three power modes (Base, Mid, Turbo) and an airflow slider. The JoinOne15 kit is roughly £7.40 a device by the box.

4-in-1 Ultra50

Multi-flavour kit · ~50,000 puffs

For people who can’t pick one flavour. Carries four at once and takes the Dual 10K pod system. The Ultra50 kit is about £10.20 a device by the box — most puffs per pound in the range.

ELFA Pro

Compact pod kit · refillable pods

The slim everyday carry. Magnetic pods click in, QUAQ mesh inside, Type-C charging, and it takes both ELFA and ELFA Pro pods. Grab the ELFA Pro device and a set of ELFA Pro pods.

ELFX

Refillable kit · fill your own

The one you fill yourself. The ELFX Mega packs a 2800mAh battery, OLED screen, 32W and adjustable airflow; the ELFX Mini is the pocket version. Both run QUAQ dual-mesh pods and any ElfLiq salt.

Why you pay less here

Over a counter you pay the single-unit markup every time. A box spreads one price across five devices, and the each-price falls off a cliff. The Dual 10K makes it plain.

Kit and pods: why they’re sold separately

Worth getting straight before you order, because it catches people out. The kit is the device with the battery in it. The pods are the prefilled refills. Two listings, both stamped “Dual 10K”.

You buy the Dual 10K device once. From then on it’s only Dual 10K pods — each set holds two prefilled pods plus refill containers, dual flavour, around 10,000 puffs. The 600 works the same way: one 600 pod kit, then 600 prefilled pods after. Order the pods thinking they’re the kit and you’ll end up holding a refill with no battery.

What an Elf Bar is actually like to use

Stuff the spec sheet won’t tell you, but a week with one will. On the 600 the only setup is tugging a little rubber bung off both ends of the pod, then twisting it into the body till the magnets grab — one-piece feel, zero wobble. The indicator light is deliberately dumb: white means there’s charge, red means plug it in. That’s your entire readout.

Step up to the JoinOne15 or ELFX and you get a proper screen with a real battery percentage, plus airflow and power modes to fiddle with. The pods are smoked but see-through, so you can pull one and eyeball the juice instead of getting ambushed by a dry pull. The draw’s a tight, cigarette-style MTL, no button anywhere — start pulling and it kicks in.

The honest gripe: nothing in the box charges it. No USB-C cable, on any of them. Elf Bar reckons you’ve already got five in a drawer, and to be fair they’re usually right, but if you’re coming straight off disposables it’s a surprise. Grab a cable before the first one runs flat.

Charging it and swapping pods

Genuinely not much to it. Run through these and you’re away.

  1. 1

    Charge before the first puff

Type-C, twenty to thirty minutes on the small kits. The JoinOne15 and ELFX show an exact percentage; the 600 just runs its light from red to white.

  2. 2

    Prime a fresh pod

On prefilled kits, pull the bungs and let it sit a minute so the QUAQ coil soaks through. Skip this and the first few pulls can taste scorched.

  3. 3

Click the pod in, vape till it fades

Magnets do the work. When the flavour dulls or the window’s near empty, that pod’s spent — no refilling on the prefilled kits.

  4. 4

Match the refill to the device

Dual 10K pods in a Dual 10K, 600 pods in a 600, ELFA Pro pods in an ELFA. Keep the battery, bin only the pod.

Elf Bar flavours

Flavour did the heavy lifting in turning Elf Bar into a household name, and the choice hasn’t thinned out since the switch to pods. Across the kits, the 4-in-1 editions and ElfLiq we keep well over twenty going, every one a 20mg nic salt built around that bright, faintly sweet house style.

Sweet and fruity is the default setting, usually with an icy lift over the top. Coming off a disposable, that’s the comfort zone exactly. A quick map of the families first, then the handful people keep reaching for.

The flavour families

  • Berry & fruit — Blueberry Sour Raspberry, Strawberry Raspberry Cherry Ice, Strawberry Kiwi, Juicy Peach, Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava, Mango, Watermelon
  • Ice & menthol — Watermelon Ice, Banana Ice, Cherry Ice, Strawberry Ice, Lemon Mint
  • Drinks & soda — Blue Razz Lemonade, Cherry Cola, Cola, Pink Lemonade, Pineapple Lemon Soda, Elfbull
  • Grape & classics — Green Grape, Black Grape, Strawberry Grape, Cranberry Grape, Tropical Fruit, Wild Orange

Blueberry Sour Raspberry

The bestseller

A proper sour kick up front that tugs the cheeks, then it settles into a deep berry mix. The flavour Elf Bar is basically known for.

Blue Razz Lemonade

Sweet + tangy

Tangy blue raspberry over a crisp lemonade base. Sharp without being sour, and an easy all-day pick.

Strawberry Raspberry Cherry Ice

Jammy + cool

Strawberry and raspberry hit in equal measure, jammy and rich, with cherry sitting behind it and a light chill on the exhale.

Watermelon Ice

Fruit + chill

Clean, sweet watermelon with a cooling finish. The summer-staple flavour, and a safe first order if you’re unsure.

Kiwi Passion Fruit Guava

Tropical

Three fruits you can actually pick apart, tart and juicy rather than the muddy version other brands turn out. A quiet favourite.

Cherry Cola

Soda, nostalgic

Smooth cherry cola that lands close to the real can, fizz and all. Love-it-or-leave-it, and plenty stick on it for good.

Which Elf Bar is right for you?

  • Just off cigarettes or disposables — the Elf Bar 600 pod kit. The cheapest way in, nothing to set up, and the shape your hand already knows.
  • Want a pocket device you’ll carry everywhere — the ELFA Pro. Slim, magnetic pods, takes ELFA and ELFA Pro flavours.
  • Best all-round value and battery — the Dual 10K. Two flavours, ~10,000 puffs, half the shop price by the box.
  • Fewest refills, a screen and some control — the JoinOne15 or, if you’d rather fill your own juice, the refillable ELFX Mega.

Are Elf Bar vapes still legal in the UK?

Yes. The single-use vape ban that landed on 1 June 2025 went after disposables only — the bin-when-empty sort with no way to charge or refill them. What we stock is the opposite: a battery you top up over USB-C and a pod you click out, the exact shape the new rules were steering buyers toward.

They also fall inside the UK e-cigarette regulations — 2ml pods, 20mg nicotine ceiling. Quiet upside: keep the one device and feed it cheap pods, and you bin a sliver of what a weekly disposable habit used to. And if quitting cigarettes is the real goal, the NHS puts vaping near the top of the things that actually work.

Why buy Elf Bar from VapeCity?

Mostly it comes down to price. Boxing them up drops the cost per device to around half a high-street single, which the tables above lay bare. And it’s one stop — the devices, the pods that fit them, and ElfLiq in the matching flavours, so you’re not bouncing between three sites to keep a single kit alive.

VAT’s baked into every price, orders go out fast anywhere in the UK, and there’s a registered UK company behind the counter rather than a marketplace reseller. Buy the device the once, feed it cheap pods, crack on.

When to skip Elf Bar

Elf Bar suits a lot of people, just not everyone, so here’s where it falls short. Chasing fat sub-ohm clouds? A prefilled MTL pod can’t get you there — a proper sub-ohm kit can. Can’t stand sweet vapes? Elf Bar runs sweet top to bottom, so a drier brand will treat you better. Set on mixing your own juice? Leave the prefilled kits and pair the refillable ELFX Mega with a bottle of ElfLiq. What it nails is the simple stuff: a flavour you trust, zero faff, and a box price that undercuts the counter.

Made your mind up?

For most people the Dual 10K is the smart-money pick. Only add refill pods if the device is already yours.

Frequently asked questions

Which Elf Bar is best?+

No outright winner — it’s about fit. Best value and runtime, the Dual 10K: two flavours, about 10,000 puffs, roughly half the counter price by the box. Tiny and fuss-free as you leave cigarettes, the 600. A screen and a few settings, the JoinOne15.

Is Elf Bar the same as Lost Mary?+

Cousins, not clones. The same maker, Shenzhen iMiracle, sits behind both, which is why the coil tech and flavour recipes overlap. Past that, the devices, the names and the flavour menus each go their own way. Get on with one and the other won’t throw you.

How many puffs does an Elf Bar last, and how long is that?+

It scales with the kit: roughly 600 a pod on the 600 and ELFA Pro, about 10,000 on the Dual 10K, up to 15,000 on the JoinOne15, and near 50,000 across the 4-in-1 Ultra50. A Dual 10K pod set lasts an average vaper a week or so, depending how hard you go at it.

Can I refill an Elf Bar pod with my own e-liquid?+

Not the prefilled ones — the 600, Dual 10K, JoinOne15 and ELFA pods are sealed units you swap when empty. To fill your own, go for a refillable ELFX Mega or ELFX Mini and run any ElfLiq or other nic salt through it.

Which pods fit which Elf Bar device?+

Match the name: Dual 10K pods fit the Dual 10K, 600 pods fit the 600, and so on. The ELFA Pro is the flexible one — it takes both ELFA and ELFA Pro pods, which are also cross-compatible with the Lost Mary Tappo system.

What nicotine strengths do Elf Bars come in?+

Every prefilled pod is 20mg nic salt — the legal ceiling here, and about right for most people stepping off cigarettes. ElfLiq for the refillable kits comes in weaker strengths too, so there’s a path to taper down from 20mg when you’re ready.

Are Elf Bars going to be banned?+

The throwaway ones got pulled in June 2025, yes. Everything we list now — the rechargeable kits and the bottled e-liquids — is legal, TPD-compliant, and not on any chopping block.

Why are your Elf Bars cheaper than the shops?+

Because a box shares one price across several devices, the each-price lands around half a typical shop single. It’s the same VAT-paid, UK-compliant stock you’d find anywhere — the saving is just the box doing the work.
