Nicotine pouches are small, tobacco-free pouches you tuck under your top lip — no smoke, no vapour, no spitting. We stock every major brand: Velo, ZYN, Killa, Pablo, Nordic Spirit, Iceberg and more, in strengths from a gentle 1.5mg up to 50mg extra-strong.
Buy by the can or by the box at wholesale prices, with same-day dispatch on most orders. New to pouches? Start around 6–10mg and work up — anything past 20mg is strong, and the 50mg cans are for committed users only.

A nicotine pouch is a small, pre-portioned sachet of plant fibre soaked in nicotine — no tobacco leaf anywhere in the mix. You tuck one behind your upper lip, and the nicotine absorbs through the gum tissue over the next 20 to 60 minutes. A mild tingling when you first place it is completely normal and settles within a minute or two.
They look similar to snus at first glance, but there is a key difference: traditional snus contains actual tobacco. Nicotine pouches do not, which means they avoid the combustion-related chemicals and the associated smell. No spitting required either; each tin comes with a small compartment in the lid for used pouches.
Since the disposable vape restrictions came into force in 2025, pouches have seen a significant jump in popularity — particularly among people who want a discreet nicotine option without carrying a kit. The experience is genuinely different from vaping (quieter, longer-lasting, no draw technique to learn) but equally satisfying once you find the right strength.

Three steps and you are done:
Open the tin
Peel the foil or flip the lid. Each tin holds 20 pouches arranged in a ring with an empty compartment in the centre (or in the lid) for used ones.
Place it under your lip
Tuck one pouch against your upper gum, usually between the front two teeth and the cheek on either side. Press lightly and leave it alone — moving it around extends the tingling phase.
Leave it in for 20 to 60 minutes
The average session is around 30 minutes. Discard the used pouch in the lid compartment when done. Never reuse a pouch; the nicotine is spent after one session.
Choosing the right strength is the single most important decision when you start. Too low and the pouch feels pointless; too high and you will feel dizzy or nauseous. Use this as a starting point:
| Strength | mg per pouch (approx) | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| Low | 3–6 mg | Complete beginners, light social smokers, transitioning from low-strength vapes |
| Medium | 6–10 mg | Average smokers (10–15 a day), most regular vapers moving across |
| Strong | 10–16 mg | Heavy smokers (20+ a day), experienced users who found medium insufficient |
| Ultra | 17 mg+ | Seasoned pouch users only — Pablo and Killa sit here. Not for new users. |
These are approximate guidance ranges. Different brands label strength differently: VELO quotes mg per pouch, ZYN quotes mg/g total — always compare the actual per-pouch figure when switching brands.
Two pouch formats dominate the market and the difference matters more than it looks on the tin.
Mini pouches are smaller and sit completely behind the lip with virtually no visible bulge. They feel gentler in the mouth and the flavour can be subtler. If discretion is the priority — board meetings, first dates, anywhere you would rather nobody noticed — mini is your format.
Slim pouches are longer and thinner, designed to stay in place along the gum line without much pressure. They generally have more surface area in contact with the gum, which means a stronger, faster hit and more pronounced flavour release. Most of the stronger brands (Pablo, Killa) come in slim format only.
Nordic Spirit offers a good range in both formats; VELO sticks to their own shaped slim-style pouch; ZYN runs a smaller mini format that suits newer users particularly well.
Here is the quick reference for every brand in our nicotine pouches range, with what makes each one worth trying:
ZYN
1.5 mg–16.5 mg per pouch
The worlds biggest nicotine pouch brand and a sensible first stop for beginners. ZYN pouches are dry, which means the nicotine releases slowly and steadily — less of a sharp hit, more of a sustained plateau. Excellent mint and citrus options. Transparent labelling that prints the actual mg figure on each can.
Shop all ZYN →VELO
4 mg–17 mg per pouch
From British American Tobacco, VELO runs the widest strength range of the mainstream brands. Their pouches are slightly moist, meaning the flavour and nicotine activate quickly — closer to the immediate hit that vapers expect. Ice Cool and Freeze are perennial bestsellers. A solid option if you are coming across from a high-strength vape.
Shop all VELO →Nordic Spirit
6 mg–11 mg per pouch
The most familiar brand in UK high-street retail (stocked in supermarkets and corner shops), Nordic Spirit has earned its reputation through consistency and approachable flavours. Their Berry Crush and Elderflower options are genuinely good — flavours that taste like what is on the label rather than a generic sweet. Good middle-ground strength range.
Shop all Nordic Spirit →Pablo
25 mg–50 mg total (ultra-strong)
Not a beginner product. Pablo is the brand that ultra-strong users seek out when mainstream options feel underwhelming. The strengths are expressed per gram rather than per pouch — do the maths before you order, and treat these with respect. Plenty of fruit flavours alongside the classics.
Shop all Pablo →Killa
12.8 mg–16 mg per pouch
Killa sits in the gap between mainstream-strong and ultra-strong: powerful enough to satisfy heavy smokers, without the eye-watering intensity of the Pablo tier. Unusual flavours (cola, watermelon, peach ice) that work better than the names suggest. Worth trying if Nordic Spirit or VELO at max strength is still leaving you short.
Shop all Killa →Cuba
Various strengths
Cuba brings its own take on bold, tropical flavours at competitive prices. A younger brand that has built a following through flavour creativity rather than brand heritage. Good value multi-tin packs available.
Shop all Cuba →77
Various strengths
The 77 brand sits at the more distinctive end of the range — unusual enough to stand out from the ZYN/VELO mainstream but reliable enough to reorder. Good option once you know pouches suit you and want to explore.
Shop all 77 →Pouch Nurdz
Various strengths
Born from the vaping world, Pouch Nurdz brings candy-inspired flavours to the nicotine pouch format. If you have found the traditional mint and fruit flavours a bit predictable, this is worth a look.
Shop all Pouch Nurdz →Neither is objectively better — they just suit different situations:
Better for flavour depth and ritual
Better for discretion and convenience
Mint and menthol dominate the nicotine pouch category for a reason. The cool, crisp sensation pairs naturally with the tingling that the nicotine itself causes, making the overall experience feel clean and deliberate. ZYN Cool Mint and VELO Freeze are probably the two most-bought pouches in the UK.
Fruit flavours have closed the gap considerably. Watermelon, citrus, and berry-type options have become reliable sellers — they are sweeter and more approachable for newer users who find the medicinal quality of plain menthol off-putting. Killa and Nordic Spirit do particularly well here.
Coffee is a smaller category but a loyal one. ZYN Espressino has its own following. If you drink black coffee first thing in the morning, a coffee pouch during the day is a genuinely appealing proposition rather than a novelty.
Tobacco flavour pouches exist (mostly from VELO) but they have not caught on widely. Most people choosing pouches are actively trying to move away from tobacco, and the flavour associations can feel counterproductive. That said, for heavy smokers in the very early days of switching, a familiar tobacco note can ease the transition.
Pablo and similar ultra-strong products quote strength per gram, not per pouch. A "50mg/g" can does not mean 50mg per pouch — a slim pouch typically weighs 0.7–0.9g, so the per-pouch figure is lower. That said, these are still substantially stronger than anything in the mainstream range. If ZYN at 16mg is already powerful for you, do not skip straight to Pablo.

Yes. Nicotine pouches contain pharmaceutical-grade nicotine extracted separately, plant-based fibre, flavourings and a pH adjuster. There is no tobacco leaf in any of the brands we stock.
If you are a regular smoker or are coming across from a 20mg nic salt vape, start at 6–10mg. Lighter users or those who rarely smoked should try 3–6mg first. Ultra-strong options (17mg+) are only for experienced pouch users — they are not a starting point.
Almost every brand sells in tins of 20 pouches. The exceptions are occasional promo packs. When we list multi-packs on the site, the total count is displayed on each product.
Most people use them for 20 to 60 minutes. After about 30 minutes the flavour and nicotine release tails off noticeably. Do not re-use a spent pouch — the nicotine is gone.
Generally yes, since there is no combustion, vapour or spit involved. Check the airline rules for your route; most permit them, but regulations in the destination country can vary.
They look similar but are not the same. Snus contains real tobacco leaf. Nicotine pouches contain no tobacco at all. Traditional snus is banned from sale in the UK and most of the EU; nicotine pouches are a legal, registered nicotine product.
ZYN pouches are drier, giving a slower and more sustained nicotine release. VELO pouches are moister, so the nicotine hits faster. Both are strong mainstream brands; which you prefer comes down to whether you want an immediate hit or a longer plateau. VELO also runs to 17mg, versus ZYN maxing out at 16.5mg in the UK.
Considerably less than smoking or snus. There is no tobacco and no combustion. Some users report very minor staining over long-term heavy use from certain flavourings, but it is not a meaningful concern for most people using them at normal frequencies.
